The Wine Dome: rare wines in large-format bottles

The Wine Dome – designed by renowned architect Gregor Eichinger – has been a complement to Adi Werner’s World of Wine since 2022 and forms the new centrepiece of the Hospiz’s wine cellar. Arranged in sweeping curves towards the ceiling, the rare big bottles of the world-famous Bordeaux collection are stored inside it, with great care and at the perfect temperature.

Twelve steps down from the Tyrolean Garden of Eden: the Wine Dome. Established in 2022 and reservable for private tastings.

An exclusive private dining table for 12 guests is installed in the middle of the room. Gazing upwards into the dome itself, you see above you bottle after bottle, like a twinkling night sky. Here you’ll find exclusive enjoyment and peace – accompanied by an excellent glass of wine. The Wine Dome is equipped with a complete technical set-up, including a fantastic sound system, and can be reserved for wine tastings, dinners and undisturbed gourmet experiences of all kinds.

Guests can visit Adi Werner’s World of Wine for private tastings or as part of a guided tour at the side of our experienced sommeliers.

Brotherhood meetings in the Wine Dome

The members of the St. Christoph Brotherhood meet once a week in the Wine Dome to discuss current matters, welcome new members and pay homage to select wines. The Brotherhood is an association of over 22,000 members that dedicates itself to Christian philanthropy. It is one of the largest charitable organisations in the Alps.
